My car does not have a headlight warning buzzer, and I would like to install one. Anyone ever done that? Wonder how hard that would be to do.

I installed one in my car.
mine may be a little different than most.
I got another dome light switch and wired a buzzer from radio shack into it going to the parking lights.

Thats a lot of money for me, I'm gonna go this route......... http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/data/5969/test.pdf

and heres a buzzer on ebay......... http://www.ebay.com/itm/322224093595?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

    and his instructions, pretty simple.............

This is a perfect buzzer for warning you if have left your headlights on when you turn off your ignition key.

Use a test light to find any wire or fuse that turns on and off with the headlight switch, and then find any wire or fuse that turns on and off with the ignition key. Connect the red wire (+) of the buzzer to the headlight fuse or to any wire that the headlight switch turns on/off, and connect the black wire (-) of the buzzer to any fuse or wire that turns on and off with the key. The buzzer will only sound if the lights are on and the key is off.

I will be doing mine this way, just attach the wires to two fuses and done, piece of cake.
