can these plastic parts be painted? mine are peeling and look really bad but i want to keep them cause other than that they are in good shape
Yes they can be painted(dyed)SEM paint products are the best.I would recommend useing their products exclusively. They are the best and meant for vinyl/plastic restoration.
a cheap exelent way to paint them is with light coats of duplicolor bumper paint its meant fof vinals and plastics.i yoused it on mine and they look new! and its verry flexable.6 bucks per can
SEM has a complete line of cleaners and surface preps, check out their website. I would think you'd want take your time and make sure it's done right, if you cheap out it may look good for a short period of time, then if it doesn't last you take the chance of wrecking the parts.
ok another quick question, its off topic but , has anyone used the summit or another off brand of dyna mat? i am looking into putting something into my floor
All things considered, any dynamat type product should have adequate sound absorption/insulating properties. The quality comes in with durability and user freindlyness.Ya gets what ya payes for...
well as a college student i will have to see what the price diff. is and go from there seeing as funds are a little tight
Yup, lots of Dynamat knockoffs, but only one is Dynamat. When your going to go to all that trouble, use something you know is good. I have $400 + worth of Dynamat Extreme and Dynaliner in my car, just sitting in the car you can tell the difference, and just sitting in it is all I seem to do, maybe tomorrow it will run??
and bout how much do you think would take to cover the interior? i am thinking prolly just a little more than one 13' roll
