I got home from work today and thought about working on the Mav or watching a race on the tube. Well, it was about a hundred out and the humidity was close to that. So I went out and worked on the Mav. I have a 6-2-1 header I would like to install and I also have a RBS Carter waiting to be installed. I took on the Carter. I had to rebuild it and at that time I took out all the choke components. Then I installed it on the 250. It started, after filling the float bowl, quickly. The engine has a deeper sound and for the short time I drove it, it responded very well. I am going to buy the K&N filter R-1390 filter. I am now more inspired to get the header installed.
I hope this carb eliminates the cornering problems that the YFA gave me.

I swear by the RBS' carbs. They just seem to run all around better then the YF's. I put a YF on my car a while back to see what the diffrence was. I only had it on there for like 3 days before I swapped the RBS back on...
