my 74 maverick was converted into a street drag and they took out to much for light weight behind the dash, a/c, radio, top dash pad, etc. and put a lot of stuff behind the dash, can anyone take some pics behind there dash like around the glove box and the center ac vents, I have a 74 4 door mav with power disk brakes, power steering, auto, 302 v8 if this helps thanks

is any of the stuff under the hood? if you are wanting to put it back to stock A/C condition, you will need an A/C parts car...:yup:

Agreeing with Frank if you want a factory set-up, parts car is the only simple way to do it. Lots of stuff to gather up if you were to try it piecemeal.

There are aftermarket A/C setups available for Mustangs that would likely adapt well to our cars, too. Classic Auto Air is one source.

Did they take out the lower dash with the glovebox, etc, when lightening the car? I have one here in decent shape. Many get broken over the years .... they are plastic. PM me if interested and I can get pics over to you.

First off....does the car still have a heater box? That is what is primarily in the area you discuss.

You are missing the entire heater/AC box.

Not sure what that is over by the speaker. Never seen anything like that.

Yea same, the speaker is connected to that weird looking box and the cylinder thing behind where the center ac vent is is a speaker as well..?

Guessing it's some type tweeter, there's a non-polarized capacitor connected to it...

I got these out so far, one more of the big speaker box to get out, could that be the heater possibly?

Not a heater. Looks like some type of box for the speaker.
