We are attempting to paint the interior on a 74 Maverick, it is the Medium Blue Metallic on the surrounding door/metal dash area/plastic lower dash w/glovebox. My buddy wants to tackle this himself, he's painted frames & trailers before & has a decent gun. The interior code is BB, for the Medium Blue Metallic-I've been to a few paint shops & they don't have books on interior paint colors available-does anyone know the interior Ford Paint # code they used? If I provide a paint code they can make up some paint. It seems this interior paint was common w/all Fords, I've seen this on all car lines now & then. Thanks all...
Years ago, I had a PPG book that had interior paint codes in it, I'll see if I can find it. What we did was, take a panel to the paint suppliers, and they scanned it, to find a match.
