Hello Everyone, The last couple of cold starts on my 71 Comet have seen a slight delay from when I turn the key to the start position to when the motor cranks and starts. But after driving around for a while and then stopping the car it won't have that issue. It will immediately start again when I turn the key. Am I looking at an ignition switch issue or the key tumbler?
I would say... ignition switch issue... try cleaning and lubing the switch, could be sticking when cold.
