internal Thermactor mainifold...

    This thing is cast into the back of each of my heads. How does one block this off the right way? How does one do this easily inside the engine compartment? is there some special plug?

    If I remember correctly, a 3/8" pipe thread plug will do the trick. Use an allen plug, and it should go easy. I had a '77 California car once, and had to get rid of the tubes. Let us know,

    Ford sells a plug for these. I screwed around with bolts and guessing and ended up getting 'em from Ford. Cheap too.
