I say cheesy. Depends on what look you ar going for, but I think your car is on its way to be too nice for that. If thats the length and angle you want try a stock shift handle on the pro 5.0 shifter base. I used a stock handle once on a steeda base to get the length i needed.

Cheezy, if you want I got a matching steering wheel from an old go cart to match it LOL

On another not, bryant I found the adjustable UPR shift handle seems to fit pretty good to me. I had 4 to choose from (older hurst, stock, uknown, and the UPR) and that one the back offset seems to fit perfect for me (exactly what your achieving with your chain link).

Its the one with 3 offset positions, could easily modify a normal handle with a mill or die grinder I just don't have time right now.

Now the problem is these things are week and seriously banging gears could be a problem quick and end up with a broken handle and broken knuckles and radio LOL.

Very creative to get the angle your looking for though, I never thought of doing thaqt before.

A tall shifter boot no one would be the wiser ;)

I would think a piece of flat aluminum would look good on your car, bout 1/2-5/8 thick.
