Who has put in a hydraulic clutch from ModernDriveline? I have installed one with a T-5 5 speed out of a Cobra into my 71 Comet GT. Now, for the second time, the plunger has come out of the slave cylinder attached to the tranny. I will have to replace it again, another $250! Did you have issues? Do I need to try to find a cable system? Does anyone know of a cable system that will work on the factory clutch? Recommendations?

What has Modern said? Did you ask them about it? I know of a few that have been installed, at my friends shop with no issues, I was planning on the same thing for my car.

I have a Hydrailic slave and it works great, dont see how the plunger could be coming out unless you are over extending it. try moving the slave closer to the clutch fork so it dosnt have to push out so far or get a longer plunger.
