Okay here's the latest pic. It's on the road! The snorkle, air flow meter, K&N and the upper radiator hose barely clear the hood. Notice how I had to clock the air flow meter so it would clear the hood. I still have to have the A/C hoses made & the shock tower to firewall braces fabricated. It runs like a raped ape! Getting closer...
Your car looks great. It must make you feel go to have it on the road. I have a ways to go until I get that feeling. Did you see my post on the shock tower braces? What do you think?
Indiana! That's an awful long ways out there. I seriously doubt it. Hell, I won't even take my Shelby to Vegas for the annual Shelby Meet out there. I barely made it to the Shelby National Convention in Fontana at California Speedway last year & it was only 25 minutes from house. Although, I am seriously considering driving my Maverick up to the Monterey Historic Races in August, which is about 900 miles round trip.
gs.... ...between this board and the boss302 board I have only seen pics of your motor. Got any of the entire car? I wanna see some more! Seth
The car was freshly painted that original baby blue about 10 months ago & what started this whole project was a minor frontender that bent the core support. To pull it out properly I had to remove the motor & hell if I'm going to do that, then I'll do a 5.0 EFI conversion. It was definitely more than I bargained for. Anyway, the car has both fenders replaced & another Grabber hood installed & it is currently at the paint shop. All previous pics showed no front fenders or the hood as a result. I'll have some pics of the car in a couple of weeks. I'm sure you went into the owners pictures & modified engines sections of the Boss web site & viewed my Boss 302.
Adam-Other than installing a remote mastercylinder/booster setup, a smaller booster will not resolve the firewall to shock tower issue. The problem is the mastercylinder, not the size of the booster. You can check my post from that thread.
