I'm curious to see what size most guys go with. Im looking to order new rims in the near future and I'm thinking 17" by 8"

15x8 and 15x7, but likely going to a 18x8 rear and 17x7 front, or something along those lines. Maybe 17 all around. I was going to look through here and see what everyone else is running and how they look.

I have 17s on my wifes 05 mustang, and they do not seem too big, at all. Figured 18 on back wouldn't be gaudy.

Any pictures? That's the other reason why I asked this question so I could see what different rims look like so I know what I like on our cars :camera::dance:

Yeah! Can't wait to see those 17s on your car. That will help me decide if 18 would be too big out back.

I don't want to donk my car out, but I am finding it harder and harder to find tires in my 15" sizes.

I have 17x7 front and 18x8 rears. Mounted and balanced but months away from being bolted on the car.

Car-nut, I would sure like to see those mounted! At the rate my repairs are going, you may have them installed before I get around to buying new wheels!:biglaugh:

I bought grabbergts AR hopsters 17x91/2 with 285-35 for the rear and 17x8 with 245-40 for the front. I'm having to do alot mods to get them to fit but i think it will be worth the effort.

    I've been looking at http://customwheelsmarket.com/

thinking 17x8 in the fron with 4"bs

17x9 or 17x10 rear with 3 or 3.5" of back space.

I don't really want them too far outside the wheel well, but i want a wider than the front and a deeper dish than the front wheel for the back

I need to do some measuring to see how wide i can run and how much back space i have on the rear ( i don't want to run spacers at all)

What's the widest that fits on the back? does anyone know or have pictures?

My goal, if I can keep it, is to have the car painted before I go on our family vacation the end of July. If I am able to keep my planned schedule I will be able to get the car off the dolly and install all the suspension and make it a roller by mid August. I hope to be able to do that.

    Stay tuned.

    Here are mine.....
