Does anyone know of a good junkyard for old vehicles around college station texas?? I'm willing to drive a little to get what i need, but i am looking for cheap as possible. (duh) I eventually need a new rear end (i have 69.5 4 lugs) disc brakes, 302 swap stuff, T5 swap stuff, etc, and can't really afford to buy it all piece by piece off ebay with shipping, etc. It would be much easier to have a yard to grab a bunch of stuff at once, and none of the yards around here have anything earlier than mid to late 80's and charge an arm and a leg for parts. I know of a great yard in Abilene, but that's a 4.5 hr drive, a long way to go for parts i'm not even sure are there...

    Any help?

wow. I went out to Cruz today to check things out. You sure wouldn't find that place unless you were looking for it! There was nothing out there I could use, but I did pull out a dash from an old gmc sonoma for my girlfriends dad...

you can have dibs on it, but i don't know if it will be anytime real soon, as money and time are both tight. You don't need it anytime soon, do you?

If you are going to drive to Sequin, may as well hit Houston. There are more yards than you can hit in one day, or one week. Mavericks are few and far between, though. They all tell me that they hold the cars for a few years, and if it is a model with few people looking for parts, they crush them. But, for rear ends, etc. you can grab from cars other than mavs.

    Good luck.
