I hope to have it all good for next summer. Had some initial troubles with the holly sniper , if I was to do it again I would use a new fuel tank with pump inside and make sure the return line was not restricted plus use an external fuel pressure regulator right off the hop. Now I need a hood scoop please in bc Canada ,you guys have been a wealth of info here on this site merry Christmas. and thanks again Brent at GEARSTOGO for the 4 speed swap parts and help. This 425 hp blue print crate engine is f ing insane I crappies my panties a little dropping the clutch first test drive after breaking everything in.
I run the Holley intank pump that bolts into the factory sending location no mods needed. It does not require a return line. Works great with the sniper system.
I have the same pump with my Pro-Flo 4 and it works great. when I turn the key on I have to listen for the pump, it only runs a couple of seconds to build pressure then shuts off.
Which model are you running? Holly's website doesn't show any as compatible with a Maverick/Comet (Although I always suspected that one of them would).
It’s the one for the 70 mustang. When I get home I a few days I can get a photo. I actually pulled the whole system and went back to carb. It worked fantastic but I missed the simplicity of it. It’s all i a box right now.
