... but I`m not sure what paxton I got :16suspect. I believe it is a novi 2000 but I realy don`t know. It came off of a fox body mustang and was running 10 lbs of boost. The numbers I found are sn-89-7632 on the tag then 1558476 on the body. it came with all the stuff for passenger side mount but I would like to keep my battery where it is and put the supercharger on the drivers side but I cant find a bracket set up for it. What carb and mods to the carb do you all recommend ? I`ll post a picture of it a little later when I get time.

    Thanks,

    Elliot.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
If I were you I'd go EFI since there's numerous tunes for that setup out there already.
(although ideally you'll want custom tune)

According to paxton that unit it capable of 970HP and it can flow 1400CFM

    I'm sure it'll be fun :)

I have no plans on going to efi as of now if I ever do it will be years from now. The engine in my car is a 347 with afr 185 cc heads and a 480/500 lift roller cam . I don`t want to go too large with the carb I drive my car alot more than I race it . I havent had a chance to do much reading but it looks like you are right about it being a sn89 . Here is a picture...

I got board today so I played with the brackets I already have and it looks like it will work but plumbing is going to be real tight ...

For carb mods go to theturboforums.com and look in the carb sesection..... Most use Holley's with the hanger 18 mods that do there own, but there are some who use Edelbrock's(the mods for these are also available there).....

There is also a thinking about going blow thru read this before posting..... It is very informative about fuel system requirements.....
