It said to post here first, so here I am. I'm actually curious first to hear what you think this car might be worth. I just advertised it on Craigslist: ---------- 1973 Ford Maverick, 38k miles, runs good ---------- Straight 6, automatic, 2dr, blue Grandma had this car under cover for past 10-20 years. We are pretty sure she was the 2nd owner and purchased it in 1976 or so. She hasn't driven it for 5-10 years and it was just local in Ballard before that. We recently got it running (new battery, starter, & solenoid is all it needed), has had some other services and checkups, still needs a little work (heater, exhaust, etc.) but it runs really strong (mechanic has checked it out). Body is in nearly perfect shape (rear bumper is dented in a bit and one scrape/slight dent on rear side), paint is great (needs a little polishing), interior is pretty good but a few seams in the seats have split due to age. Definitely a project car, but the engine is in suprisingly good shape and has a lot of power. ANY IDEAS WHAT THIS WOULD BE WORTH? $1000? thanks for your help, -Nathan nathanmarion@yahoo.com 206.297.6221 360.303.4303
The specialists on here would be able to tell you more about what to expect than I can, however, they'd need pictures (and vin, and other stuff). Bottom line though, anything is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it (high or low). Good luck, sounds like a nice car.
