kick down for a c-4.

    hey guys i was wondering if maybe anyone on here knows what i could grab some kickdown linkage out of for my c4 trans. i believe it is a late 70's early 80's transmission.

    There is a date of manufacture in the two circles by the manual lever. The 80s "C4" was a C5. The linkages are model specific so it also depends on what engine, intake, carb, etc. you have. It will probably be easier to fabricate one unless it is all stock. Even then you will need part numbers to get it all from www.mmerlinn.com

    i can get a universal cable from Lokar for like 70 bucks but the car as to be brought to a transmission shop and the cable has to be made by them or someone that knows what there doing. i HAD a C5 in the car but now there is a C4 in there. thats what i was told by the guy i bought it from.
