I searched this site for Lakewood Traction Bars and found postings back in 2011. The part number 21604 is said to fit our Maverick cars, but according to some they do not. The shocks hit the housing and can not be mounted without making modifications.
In the past two years Does anybody know if changes have been made or is there another part number that works with the stock 8 inch housing?

I put a set on mine last year but for a 9" with 3" axle tubes and they worked OK. Haven't put shocks on it yet. The other problem is they are too short and contact the spring 2" or so behind the spring eye. I'm extending mine so they contact the spring eye.

Some day.. Some day.. lol.. I have added a mini spool since I started the "tear it all apart and make it better" project. Not drive able yet.
