To help us all, I thought it would be kind of cool if we compiled a list of rare-or highly sought after parts. Such as the v8 throttle cable that seems to be a fairly hot item. It would be nice if I (or anyone else) had this list when we went to the junkyardss-often many of these parts can be had for pennies, and I can just start picking them up when I see them. So that I could help out a fellow mavericker in the future--I know cal. is abundant with rust free examples!
It's what I've always called the clutch arm that goes between the frame and the block. I don't know if it's the correct term or not, it's what the folks I know call it. Dave
Well... 1. Consolette and Clock/Delete Plate 2. Grabber Hood (Of course!) 3. Grabber Spoiler (Of course!) 4. Bucket Seats 5. Special Maverick/Comet Power Booster and Pedal assem. That's all I can think of right now..... -Corbin
the intermittent wind shield wiper set up. do these other postings mean i should go snag those rear window defoggers at my fav mav yard?
How about rust free floor pans and those little washer/spacer "thing-a-ma-bobs" that hold the rear spoiler on?
jeremy... name these socal yards that have mavericks! i am gonna be stuck there for a few weeks on business and the weekends are mine! junkin in january without freezing is just what the doctor ordered
you should take the rear spoiler off, since unlimited products makes a glass one which includes mounting hardware
Well...I guess the time has come to BRAG a little (lol) I own two of the rarest parts I know of... 1. A new old stock 1969 1/2 -`70 Factory Drop in GAS TANK 2. A New old stock Factory rear Grabber Spoiler still in the package.
