My local Lowe's does not carry it but the manager I spoke to said he would get it transferred from another store. He can't order it direct. I'm going there tomorrow to pay for it. He said about a week to get it.

    It is: Peel& Seal
    Prod # 154017
    model # ps625

It's an insulator/ sound deadener (Roof repair Material) from Lowe's. Peel the back off and stick it in place

Just saw a tip in Car Craft that once you get all of it in place,(this goes for all brands, Dynamat, etc ...) you might want to tape all of the seams that are exposed with foil tape. Keeps the asphalt filler from messing you up while you are putting the interior back in. I was also reading that on a hot day, it is possible this stuff can move around a bit (like the factory stuff did ...), so it seems to me that taping it would be some extra insurance here too.

I am a couple of steps from doing all this myself (more welding and some Rust Bullet).

I used foil duct insulation, it like bubble wrap backed with foil on both sides, works very well, been in for 3 or 4 years, hasn't moved at all

Walked into the local Lowes yesterday and tracked this stuff down. I have a $10 gift card from Lowes that we have plans for (you have to spend $50). So Peel and Seal will be added to the list.

Not only do they have it in 6 inch rolls ... they also have this stuff in a 36 inch x 25 foot (if I remember right) roll for $75. Might be a bit hard to handle, but I thought I would throw this out there in case someone might need a whole bunch of it.

I saw that at LOWES. I agree, it would likely be a PITA to work with. The 6 inch rolls made it gravy baby!

Buy the large roll and cut it in half or thirds to make it easier to work with. Probably sell some to another member on here.

Did I understand that this stuff will work in place of dyna mat? or just as an insulation.
