looking for this maverick

    1970 maverick, grabber hood and tail, 170ci I-6, C4 (drivetrain is getting changed ;) )

    I am looking for this 1971 maverick grabber that used to be owned by my dad. i am looking for any details about this car. here's what i do know: it was a 1971 maverick grabber w/302, dad owned it from approx. 1983 to 1987-88, it was near alliance ohio while he owned it, he sold it to a guy named melvin menegay. i would really like to surprise him with it

    If you have something that can tell you the VIN, you can have the DMV see who the registered owner is, and maybe they can get you in the right direction. Good luck!

    Maybe try putting an ad in that town's newspaper showing that photo. That's a unique paint job. Someone might recognize it and be able to tell you where it went next.
