how many maverick/comets roaming the u.s.? I try to great new members everyday i get on the board. today i started thinking, with all the new members, perhaps i should have built a rolls royce. can there be that many mav/com's rolling the roads? someone did a poll on how many each member owned, i wonder how many members there are?
plus imo there are plenty who have sold there car and just forgot about there account. they should be deleted after say...12 months w/no activity.
Ive sold parts to at least 15 guys around here that are not on the board. I tell them about it, but they never make it.
Yes! Ive sold other things like alternators, heads, etc to non maverick folk. But i didnt count them. I see a new mav/comet every week. In my city alone i have a list of where ten are.
The MCCI does have a chapter here I think. The big meet is always at the knots ford show. But still not a whole lot of people show up. A lot of the classic cars out here are owned by people who arent really car people. So its not surprising when theres not a huge turn out.
