lug nuts

I'm in need of a handful, (3 or 4) of factory lugnuts for my 73 Maverick. The auto parts only carry the chrome ones and want a good bit of change for them. Some of the ones on my car are losing the threads and won't tighten all the way.

I'd hit a salvage yard...should be able to get them by the bushel basketful for cheap! You may want to take a look at the studs...if they're not wanting to tighten up all the way, my bet would the threads on the studs are getting worn.

 

Advance, AZ or about any any auto parts store should carry std lug nuts...

They shouldn't cost much..i just bought like 20 last week @ .79 cents each..

 

Yeah I just checked advance. I have all new studs but the lugnuts were buggered up and wouldn't tighten up on the new studs, well a couple did but the rest wouldn't. Advance only had the chrome ones. I got some on the way. Thanks guys.

 

Lugnuts are in the hands of the U.S. Post Office and on their way!!
