how do you all think a 99-2004 mach 1 spoiler would look on a 2 dr mav? They look to be dimensions close to what we need, and a lot cheaper than the 70's spoiler

They look pretty much like the 69/70 spoilers. Thats been done a bunch of times. If you like the look, then thats all that matters.

Find someone with a new mustang that might want one and work out a deal if you don't like it they will take it off your hands. That way the gamble isn't that big :)

That's what I was thinking, the swap meets are coming up soon, maybe I'll find one cheap there, or if I get a reasonable one off e-bay, and don't like it, I can pawn it off. We shall see, trying to keep this car low buck, but cool at the same time, can't justify spending much more than 50 on a spoiler and stuff
    Thanks guys
    Shaun

A real cheap way out is to get a few pieces of cardboard or other workable material and make one:smash: . Just for mock-up of coarse. That way you can get a visual of what it looks like on your car before shelling out the dough.

I think they are better suited on Comets, since they did not come with the Grabber ducktail....

well, the spoiler is way to small for these cars, kinda what I figured. Back to the drawing board. next topic, where's a good place to get carpet, my seat kit came yesterday, maybe I'll work on the seats this weekend, and I need to get a carpet in before I finish the seats :D
