Went to a boneyard today and came home with this. I paid $25 and they pulled it from the car for me. I hope I got a good deal. It'll take a little polishing, but I think it will look good.
Here's the wheel after 15 minutes of using sanding sponges. First was 80 grit; then 150; then 240. I don't think I need to do anything else to it...except maybe put a Maverick emblem where the Stallion emblem is.
Stefan, if it was Mustang II Stallion, it had been painted. It was solid color Fastback Mustang II and that is the horn button. All the pieces are there.:bananaman
And who spotted it? We were walking through a row of Mustangs, fox body and Mustang II's, and I said "this would be a good place to look for a sport wheel". Not 2 seconds later I glanced in the window of a goldish brown fastback Mustang II and low and behold there one was. It was a killer deal.
