My old 200K mile and 75 pass c4 transmisison gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago. I rebuilt another C4 with a TransGo shift kit and put another converter in (footbrake stalls around 2500). Took it to the Test & Tune last Thrusday and I was really happy with the results. The temp was about 87 degrees and really humid. Best run came about 30 minutes before track closed for a thunderstorm. I bettered my fast time (previously made on a sunny day in February around 50 degrees). Ran a 8.684 (previous 8.73)but I was most excited about the 1.909 60' - on worn out BF Goodrich Radial TA-s. All 6 runs were under the 2 second mark. I have never had the Mav under 2.000. Top speed was off by almost 2 MPH - but I was too happy with the 60' to monkey with the jetting. Better times coming.

Thanks guys - I've been wanting to get back to do some more tuning but I have gotten really bogged down cleaning up some other projects, side jobs, and honey doos.

It ought to scream. My biggest problem is off line traction too.
