Brother wanted me to post this. I gave him my set of Magnum 500's since I will never do anything with them. I had the 15+ year old bias ply Kelly Super Charger tires demounted and trashed those and then went over the wheels with an SOS steel wool dish pad. Original factory Ford wheels and that's the original chrome. Pretty decent looking. Tylar taped them off and repainted the black sections. Had them installed Sunday. Good enough for the condition the rest of the body is in. Car is nasty dirty in the pics, my brother and I have drove it over 1,000 miles since Thursday and haven't had much time to clean it. Also a couple of pics of the MSD ignition (way overkill, I know) and electric fan. The engine is still chugging along with somewhere around 240,000+ miles on it (I've about lost count, honestly). It will get replaced later this year with an aluminum headed 6 cylinder and the engine bay totally redone then.
Looks great! I can't wait to put my new ones on . 'Still don't have tires for them yet , so I'll just have to make due with the 14s for the moment...
To be honest, it totally slipped my mind that the meet was Saturday. We went to NC to get the Magnum 500's off my brother's '72 Grabber. It was about 8:30 saturday night, we were on our way back home when it hit me we missed the meet. Time is flying by so fast, hard to believe it's May already.
