main girdle

    What do you guys think about main cap girdles I am refreshing my 393 and was thinking about adding one are they worth the money

    if your running high rpms with alot of torque or nitrous then yes. they help with block flex and cap walk when under extreme loads. just dont buy a cheap off brand.

    Yes they're worth their money. They do a good job of minimizing block/pan damage when a rod or crank breaks. The GOOD girdles also have a windage tray built in-which is worth a few HP.
