MANUAL STEERING to power swap?

    i just did a manual to power stering swap now the tie rods hit my new crom frount stump oil pan i need to find a site were i can find the spacers to lower the frount end??? thanks :cry:

    Not sure I follow... what spacers are you looking for?

    And about the tie rods hitting the oil pan, are you using an after-market oil pan?

    yes after market pan is there some thing that will drop the frount so it will clear the pan

    If you start dropping the centerlink/tie rods you will be opening up a can of bumpsteer. You best bet is to have your factory oil pan that fits your suspension chromed if this if what you want. A chrome oil pan is more for show than being practical. The oil will hold the heat and not cool as well as a painted pan. Chrome will also need protected to keep it from rusting on a regular routine. This routine will get old fast.

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    What tie rods did you use? when I did the swap I had to use the stock manual tie rods with the rest of the power setup.
