We had a good time weather was some what warm sunny blue sky's. Made 3 passes 2 of them @ 10.21 128mph 3rd pass I died on the button, long story but the fuel pump was turned off. This was a fresh motor so it needs to be tuned. I'm thinking we'll do MIR next week.

I saw KillerComet in the lanes a couple times but he was pitted on the other side of the track so I never got a chance to hook up. Got to see him make a few good passes though, that car screams.

Just tuning at this point but some day, I did think of entering the gambler race yesterday since the car was dead on .219 to a .215 might have had a chance.

I`m thinking about going next Sat. to MIR myself to watch, pay out is over $25000 for 3 day event, should draw a lot of cars.I know Gary said he was going & I really wanted to pick his brain a little more for some ideas on my car.Hopefully I`ll get to see some other Maverick owners while I`m there & ck out their cars, should be fun.

You`re right,I ckd also,I guess it is cancelled.I know when I was there back in October Gary & some of the other racers were talking about the event & were looking forward to going to it.I guess maybe the owners of the trk did`nt want to take a chance on a race that late in the season because weather conditions are so unpredictable at this time of yr.

looks like the weather isn't gonna cooperate for sunday, 26 degrees in the am and a high of 37 doesn't seem like very good conditions for 1.40 60fts on a 9" tire and 127mph. if it doesn't get into the high 40's sunday, I will have raced my last race this year

if you can string those kind of lights together and the car repeats like that, you should have success, and some fun along the way. good luck if you go

To cold Sunday, MIR canceled and shut down for the season. Mason Dixon canceled Sunday as well. Still running the Turkey race Saturday but 40 degrees is to cold for my car so I'm done for the year.

Raceway park cancelled due to the weather also, High of 29 and 40mph winds, just drained the water, put antifreeze in it, and looks like Im done for the season

Hey guys, Gary here, just getting around to chking out the forum. Enjoyed the chats in the staging lanes at M-D saturday. Wished I could have pulled off the win in the final, but hey, the oil is still in the pan!

Hey Gary !! Very nice talking to you as well. I was hoping you would pull off the win as well. But like you said the oil is still in the pan.
