I race a 65 Falcon, the 70 Mav is new to me, has a six in it now. I see the 57 nine inch works for both cars, how about the frame mounts for a SBF? I have the original set for the Falcon, in the car is a 67 Mustang set that is coming out, I am going to motor plates. Will either of these frame mounts work for V8 conversion in the Maverick?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

I remember reading the early V8 Falcon 3-piece mount will work but I know for a fact that one of the bolt holes didn't align up in the shock tower horn. We ended up using homemade solid mounts instead of drilling holes.

    Frame Mounts

This winter I was planning to switch the Falcon front end over to a hybrid design utilizing the AJE crossmember. Just talked to them and they said it will fit the Maverick too using a different height strut. Cool! That will give the car adequate mounts for the street, Pinto steering, good dampening and the disc brakes will be easy to get aftermarket. T5 crossmember we can build, where does the stock shifter location come thru the floor? Does it need a relocation kit? Will the T5 fit in the tunnel? Would like to keep the bench seat if I can.
    Thanks again!
    Jeff
