Mavaholic, your car looks great!!!! I was wondering do have any pics of your Sprint before you started to restore it? I know you had mentioned that you had it in your garage for long time, before getting around to it. I was just curious what you had to work with before starting the restoration project.

    Thanks,

    Thanks

It looks like you have it in primer there, plus a different door. I was just curious what kinda of condition it was in before you started and how far you had to take the restoration i.e. replace any body panels etc.

I am trying to decide what to do with the Grabber I have, and I wanted to get a little inspiration so to speak.

    Thanks again!

About the only thing original on the car is the roof, frame, and owner, It was in 2 major accidents. Both quarter panels and doors were replaced in the 80's. Rust wise it had some major problems. 3 of the 4 windshield cornors were rusted out, trunk drops were rusted out, drivers door post was rotted out (the part that holds the door latch), drivers frame where the upper door hinge bolts to was rotted out, both front floors were gone, battery apron was rotted out, radiator core was rotted, front fender rails were gone, the rear under the tail light panel was about 1 1/2 inchs too narrow, where the body shops that put the quarters on, didnt fully straighten the rear frame crossmember. They just cut 3/4" off each side of the valance and tac welded it on. That kind of shi**ty craftsmanship is why I learned how to do it myself. I guess considering it was my daily driver for 21 years and 208,000 miles, I'm not complaining.

Do have any of those 'not for the faint of heart' pics?
The Grabber I have is pretty bad as well, but I hate to see it get scrapped or parted out. I found some NOS stuff that I know it can use for it etc. I know it is restorable, just a lot of work!!!
