Got someone nearby who actually has a pair but he said for me to place an offer. don't know how much these buckets would cost alone though. what should I offer him? they are in pretty good condition and don't seem like hey will need to be reworked.
Depends ... with or without tracks? Without tracks they are just Common 71-73 Mustang or Maverick seats ... With Tracks they are hard to find Maverick Hi-Back buckets ... and worth quite a bit more ... Or ... are they the later LDO seats ???
What seats? 71-72? or 73-75? There are different seats for different years, but like Dan said, without the tracks, their just seats.
Tracks??? That is the important part ... JUST the tracks sold on eBay the other day for $204 ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=200315657012
Wow!! that is awesome!! So then if the seats are correct, and have the correct tracks, they are at least worth $150 (easy).
I don't know if this is helpful or not, but factor in the cost or labor of seats covers and reupholstering them. For me it cost $350 to get them recovered and put new foam down. I got mustang seats though so the cost of the seats was a little different.
ok guys, I talked to the guy and he said that he doesn't have the tracks for them. Are there other tracks that can be used in their place to fit them into the car? And it's the seats shown here in the second pic on the top. Said that they are just dusty and would not need a ridiculous makeover. http://southjersey.craigslist.org/pts/1037183164.html
