The database is up and running! Please stop by and check it out, feel free to add your own custom wheel and tire combos.

    http://wheelsandtires.fordmaverick.net

Here is a little guide to the website:

To view the database: Just click the "View the database" button on the Main Menu. Most of the columns are sortable, just click the column header to sort up or down. For example, to sort the database by rear wheel width, just click the "Rear Rim Width" header to sort it.

To view an entry's pictures or webpage: The column labeled "Webpages or Pictures" contains up to 3 click-able links to a webpage with pictures of that persons car. If all three say "None", then that user did not include any webpages. If they say "Link", then click on "Link" to open a new webpage of the link the user submitted.

To view someone's specific details: The last column on the right is called "Detailed Info". Just click that button to open a new page with that entry's specific information like tire model, wheel model and any special front or rear suspension notes. To close the new window and return to the database, just click "Close this window" at the bottom.

To add your setup: Just click the "Add an entry" button from the Main Menu and fill out the form. Once you are done, just click "Submit" at the bottom of the page. It's that easy!

NOTE: Since the primary reason for this database was for others to research possible tire/wheel combos, please include ATLEAST 1 web link to some pictures of your ride. That way everyone can see your setup as well as read about it. The link can be to a specific forum thread about your car, a photobucket album or whatever. The first entry is my car and I linked to my restoration thread on the forum. Just copy and paste the entire link into each field (example: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=76451 ).

To edit your entry: If you make a mistake after submitting, or want to make a change or have an update, just look up your entry's id# from the "View the database" page. Once you know which entry you want to edit, click the "Edit an Entry" button from the Main Menu and enter in the id#. Please ONLY edit YOUR entries, not other people's. This is a forum only resource, so please be courteous and respectful of the work other people have done.

This is the first version of the database webpage, so I am sure there will need to be some tweaking. If you notice a bug, need a change made so that your setup can be entered, or just have some feedback, let me know by PM'ing me or posting here.

    Thanks!

oh, and perhaps ad a check box for rear tires where it'd auto copy/paste front wheell info to rear tire section if people are running same tire all around.

wasnt sure myself so i didnt enter it as i dont know the bs for a 5 or 6 wide 14 rim" rim

but dont think it's matter much unless its a narrow rim with little bs like 2.5 or really wide rim where BS is critical..

Each entry is unique. So you could actually make 500 copies of the same thing, they will still show up as individual entries.

I started with that in mind, but I wanted to get it up and running before trying to figure that part out. It is on my to-do list.(y)

Im not sure why that is, maybe it takes sometime before the database actual inserts the entry on a field by field bases... for the next person that happens to, wait a couple minutes and see if it shows up before trying to edit the entry.

Rusty, GREAT JOB! I am going to hold off posting mine until I get the new magnums on it in a week or two. I was hoping that the people that post links would post a side profile of their car so you can get an idea of how the car sits and looks with a particular combo of wheel and tire diameters. So far looks like thats not happenning though. The pics of how close the wheels come to the springs and the fenders are helpful.

    Thanks!

Good point on the side profile, hopefully people can start doing that, or at-least add another link for a side shot. No worries though, i'm sure it will take some time to get it just the way we want. Users can always go back and add links. :thumbs2:

It's weird because i only submitted one entry, which was 8. Then i edited number 8 and it looked good. But now a number 9 popped up out of no where, and I didnt submit it.
