Chilton produced a repair guide for the Maverick/Comet, but I believe it is out of print. The repair guide covers general maintenance, tune ups, engine and engine rebuilding, emission controls and fuel systems, chassis electrical, clutch and transmission, drive train, suspension and steering, brakes, body, and troubleshooting. The book's ISBN is 0-8019-6634-5

I bought a soft-cover copy on eBay right after I bought my Grabber. It's very useful. The one I have covers all years. It has a 1974 Orange & White Grabber on the cover.

Some were published while Mavericks were still in production, and only go up to the model before the year of publication.

They run about $30-40 + shipping on eBay. Different vendors offer them, so do a search before you bid.

Contact Craig Selvey first (a couple of posts up). I bought mine from him and I don't think it was that expensive...

Also, NAFORD302 has found a small collection of them.
