That's just dirt cheap for a flopper...ante up the cost to build that...someone's gonna get a deal for sure.
looks like its more of a sportsman series car rather than a nitro or alcohol car, I say this because of the headers, maybe I'm wrong, but it would be fun to have and race in nostalgia classes.
It's killin me that no one has bought this car yet...I wonder how much it weighs? and how fast it would go with a 900 hp sbf
IF - big 'IF' someone was in the market for a Funny Car, THAT would have to be THE deal of the century! Unfortunately, it would only be useful for someone willing to do a lot of traveling to big races. It's not every Friday and Saturday night our local tracks hold Funny Car races. I still can't get over the price though. Wow.
Rick we have 2 funny cars that run TOP bracket class every Saturday night, I've never looked at them up close so I'm not sure of there setup but there consistent and in the low 5's. let's see...pull the BB and put it in the Plum...put my SB in the flopper..sell the.... begeezus... i better shut up
that one looks more like a pro-stocker that the body lifts on... I'd rather get one of Danny Millers new bodies if ya were going that route.
i guess that if i were interested (which i'm not) i would have to ask when the car was built and if the chassis would still certify. not much good to spend $11,000 on a car that's not legal to run anywhere.
I know this car. Owner paid 6500 for it 10 yrs ago and has bothing to it. Very rough! Rigid suspension etc... Buyer will put a lot into it to run it.
