after a long departure....the maverick has returned....i went and picked it up from the welder last night.....man he is good at welding...much better than me...and some real good penetration on the welds....

he did 6 hours worth of labor but only charged me 3...since i am a gear head like him.... WOOT....

the drive home was fun...been like 3 weeks since i drove it last....

now i gotta get the headlights hooked up before June3rd....test and tune night....
    cant wait....
    i am shooting for for 14.0 - 14.5 since i can already go 14.5....

well i welded the new floor boards in.....and my welding skills arent the gretest and i did not get a chance to weld in the subframes to the new floors...so i took it to a shop and he welded a bead around the entire floor...on both sides...on the inside...and then he stitched the subframes to the floors underneath the car....i jsut have to get sub frame connectors and he said he will weld them in for me....for reasonable price.....i dont have a welder or i would do it myself...
