Hello all, im fairly new here to the forum.

When im driving my maverick, and start to accelerate to about 50+, there is a schreeching noise from the aft section of the car. I have been told it is the rear differential. Also, near the passenger side of the dash, there is a vibration that makes a clanking noise, told it was the transmission. What do i need to to to resolve these problems?

    Thanks for the help!

Wow! That's two pretty serious issues. It's impossible for us to tell you based on the descriptions you gave though. I recommend getting a good reputable mechanic to listen to both noises. You certainly dont want to start changing out parts because of what somebody thinks. Good luck with your car and keep us posted. I'd sure like go know what's going on with it myself.
