    I found this while searching through ebay for mavericks. I dont know the year the prototypes were created but the designs are interesting, One kinda resembles the Pinto:

    I feel like we are very lucky that they came out the way they did because those prototypes are ugly!!!!!

    I think that second photo is quite interesting... notice how the quarter window is incorporated into the door. Kinda makes for a long door but super easy access to the back seat. A bit ahead of it's time perhaps, now we have 3-door cars to accomplish that. This one would save on door hardware, etc.

    I see a ....

    Pinto , an old baracuda... and god help us a Vega notch back in those pictures... YEEE UCCK oh an dthe last one is a little too much like a four door corvair...double yuck, the fromt und on pic number 3 1/2 looks like a japanese import... an old "Colt"

    Oh did I mention YEEE UCK !! :eek: :eek: :eek:
