Maverick Side Molding Clips

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    It seems when removing the thin trim molding from a car, the clips directly around the rear quater wheel opening always get messed up. I have never removed them successfully, being able to save them and reuse the clips.

    Here is an ebay auction that "looks" like it has the correct clips. 12 clips for $10.99 plus $3.00 shipping. Not a bad deal in my opinion.

    Hey Craig,

    So you mean the trim that is directly around the perimeter of the rear wheel well opening? And wouldn't the front wheel well trim use the same clips?
