maverick V8 swap project

    well after finding out the motor and frame mounts didn't work i'v pull the motor.then i found one of the valve where sticking so i want to tare it down and see what i had because i bought the motor about 6 mouths ago off CL and the guy didn't really now what was in the block.so i tore it all down and found out the motor was bored .040 over and it had TRW forged pistons :bananaman.the bottom end was in good shape and it still had the hone marks.has of right now i painted the motor and cleaned up the heads and pistons here are some pics of what i have got done this weekend

    [​IMG]lil update..got the heads painted and the intake,valve covers cleaned up.put the heads and stuff on the motor to see what we had.still waiting for the valves to come in till we finish the motor ...

    ok i ran into a lil problem with the water pump not line'n up with the crank pulley.now i was wondering if i got a short nose water pump if that would work.here's a pic of it

    lil update on the maverick

    a BIG thanks to Turner327 how gave us the motor and frame mounts for the maverick swap .so we got the motor in and sittin right and fired up . so heres a vid on the maverick 289

    yea they were there a few weeks ago .i don't know what happened .i'll upload some more
