Donald Monroe drove by this evening in his Maverick to show me his new rebuilt motor and Griffin radiator. He also has put on his Maverick valve covers. Check it out!

(One of these days I'll put my set on a Maverick)! :(

Excuse my ignorance but are the covers an original part or a repro?

they were a special order item a little while ago. there were only 25 sets made and they sold out pretty fast. not sure if they will be available again. they were $169 plus shipping. :)

i know which valve covers you are referring too. the only set i could find cost like $180. I would love to have some but that is a little rich for my blood.

    No Pic found??

Ok maybe I am showing (those who know me already know it)my stupidity but I clicked on the link and went to the Texas Grabber web page and did not see the pics, there is no pic in the message above. This is not the first post I have seen responses to an obvious pic but it is not showing up that I see. Is there something wrong with my settings or am I missing something between my ears (no snide comment Frank) Also before the update if I just wanted to look I could click on a link and it would open, now it makes me log in to see a link. Is that also normal. Thanks Kelly:confused:

Kelly, you weren't doing anything wrong. I'm responsible for the missing picture. We were spring cleaning the forum for all extra photos on Stefan's server, and I deleted it.

Brought back by popular demand, here is the Maverick Valve Cover Picture:

I think I've just decided not to use the spark plug holder on these valve covers, I want to route my wires away from the logo.
