Maverick weight ?

    I was wondering if any one had any ideal what a 1972 maverick weights with an aje k member conversion and a Alum head Windsor car does have a moly cage manual rack and aero space brakes

    Save yourself some time .. Take it to a scale where they weigh trucks and get an ACCURATE weight ..

    I was just tring to figure out a base wieght motor and trans are not in the car yet thanks

    This same question has been asked a couple of other times very recently, if you do a search... But, as mentioned, with all of the different options and customizations the only way to know is to weigh it. I've seen very similar cars weigh several hundred pounds different.

    full interior version would likely be around.. 3,200'ish wet?

    stripped down.. maybe 3,000'ish?

    lek those guy's already said though.. every parts combo and design will be different by a hundred lbs or more.

    1971 Maverick 412w , 1969 Cougar 427w, 1973 Maverick 306w
    My car was just over 2800 w/o me. Thats with a Dart 8.2, mild steel cage, glass hood, exhaust, stock dash, and caltracs. With the weight savings of a chromoly cage and aje kit and adding about 50 lbs for a 351, it should be under 2700 lbs w/o driver.
