Mavman, As soon as I get back to the states from Iraq I'm going to do the MII front end swap. I bought the MII front end got it cleaned up and ready for the install before I left the states. When you get finished with yours can you send me what you did and anything you would do different if you were to do it again (lessons learned)? I have the 351W that will be going in the car and was also wondering about what you were doing about the motor mounts. In my spare time when I can find a computer that will let me outside the military firewall I try to get as many notes and ideas that I can. I plan on being in full swing on my project as soon as I get back. Thanks. Tomm
Tomm, Just wanted to say "Thank You" and stay safe. Your service to us is greatly appreciated. Dave H. Nam-68-69
Old Guy, Its great to see the support you and everyone here has given me and my soldiers. It has been a tough time being here away from our family's (and Mavericks) but the wait is almost over for some of us (couple of more months). I am glad that I played a small part in removing Saddam from power and I think the world is a better place without him. No matter what you might have heard on the news or else where, the soldiers are making a difference and the majority of the Iraqi people are thankful for us being here. Anyway, Thanks again!!!! I can't wait to finally be able to put some faces to the names on this board once I get back. Tomm
One other thing. There is ONE big thing I will say that is wrong with Iraq. There isn't a single Maverick or comet in whole damn country. I know, because I have been over almost every city in it. You can't even hardly find a Ford!!!
