I would like to let everyone know that the Maverick Comet Group has had its nominations/elections for the officers of the MCG and I am proud to announce the new officers:

    president: Don Graham
    vice-president: Jack Grice
    secretary: Mark Griffith
    Treasurer: Matt Williams

I think the members of the MCG made very wise decisions. I personally know all 4 of these men and I think the quality of leadership, dedication and direction has taken a great step forward for the MCG and its members. I look forward to the comings years. The direction and goals the new officers have for the MCG and its members is very exciting to me. I hope you all will join me in the excitement; help support and encourage these men as they take the "bull by the horns". Many great things are in store for the MCG and its members.

    Thanks,
    John.

Sorry Gene. Even though we have a Comet now, I still have 4 Mavericks.:biglaugh:Seriously, I think this is going to be a good year for the MCG. We have a lot of things in the planning stages. :)

It is very exciting to see how this club is progressing. Now that we got that lame duck pres out of there the sky is the limit.:rofl2: J/K, John, Thank you for all you have done to organize and steer this club to where it is now, Don and Matt also. Jack and Mark will be great additions to the officer postions and of course Don will be a great Pres.

To all members, remember this is OUR club and any support/participation you can give to the leadership will only help the OUR club in the end. Get involved when you can, you won't regret it!(y)

And I thought we voted to keep "The Maverick" out of the White House! :hmmm:
