Metalic Red

    Did Ford have a color that would be close to my 71 Red that has any metalic to it ? I like the Red but you don't do this everyday so I want to look at all possibiltys. Tapping on the GURU's again. Thanks Rick

    Med. Canyon Red, is a cool red-ish color, from the early 80's Mustangs and Capris. I repainted my 79 Capri with it, and always loved the color. Royal Maroon is also a classic Ford color.

    I went with 2011 vermilion red. Its used on ford pickups. Not really metallic though.

    I'm going with G2, Redfire metallic....See it on Explorers, Expeditions, ect... Almost matches the color it is now, only better.
