iI have a 69.5 with 32900 original miles what can i do to the engine to get a few more horses without a lot of external modifications
What engine? to a 6 you can swap to a 2bbl carb, headers and cam. Also ignition upgrade and exhaust...thats pretty much it.
it is a 200 6 also have a question about the oil pan someone cut it up and rewelded it making it larger any ideas why someone would do this
Maybe they wanted to run more oil, i dont think anyone makes aftermarket oil pans for the 6s so a custom one would be the only way to run more oil. In the 66 falcon which has a 200 we upgraded the ignition to duraspark from a 74maverick. swapped out the rockers to adjustable ones from a 63ranchero. and custom made a dual exhaust with a cherrybomb turbo2 muffler and a 40series flowmaster. we made it selectable so we can run either muffler when we want to be quiet or loud. In the next couple of months were going to install 3.55 gears and a mild cam.
