Just an FYI... I was searching for front springs for the comet and found that the 8306 from amazon are 45 dollars with free shipping.... the page isn't clear on whether its a pair.. but I've never seen springs sold individually... even if you had to buy two its still cheaper than orielys...:drive:

ive got a v8 and bought new v8 springs.mine were original and week when i bought the car.if i had it to do over i think i may have gone with new 6cyl springs cause the new v8 coils just pushed my frontend up way to high.just a thought for you to keep in mind.

I just double checked and the price is now at 70+.. I wonder if after my order they realized the goof up?

If they end up siting too high then the cut off wheel they get..lol

Your statement sounds like Ford use only 2 different kinds of springs for a Maverick...6 cyl or V8 springs. Ford used 16 different spring rates on the Maverick. Most Mavericks with a 6 cyl have a higher spring rate, or the same, than the V8 Mavericks.
