I managed to get loose to go to a local wrecking yard to look for more parts. I really needed one more seatbelt for my 74. I also wanted to look for some bucket seats, but was going to be pressed for time in getting them. It had rained an inch and a half the night before at the yard (not at my house, so I didn't know). This made it impossible to get around much with my truck and difficult on foot. I didn't get to see many cars. Someone said there were 12,000 cars there. Maybe so, this ain't near all of 'em! Anybody want a pink Pinto? I found a 72 maverick that had the front fenders removed, exposing the inner "mud flap" that our mav was missing after the previous owner replaced a scrunched one. Here it is! Later, I came across a 73 LTD that had the seatbelt parts I needed. SCORE!!
