Just got home from the Moultrie swap meet in south GA. The weather was kind of on the cool side this morning but it didn't take long before the temp was up in the mid to upper 70's. I think I walked 5 miles or better today. Still didn't have time to see everything. But I did see 3 sets of Maverick taillights and one set of Pinto taillights and 3 pair of Comet taillights. I bought a V8 z-bar with missing bolt for $10. Also bought a NOS grille for my '06 F150 to replace my busted up grille. My friend Jimmy finally found the trunk lid trim for his '66 Fairlane GT clone. Also saw a nice red '72 Comet in the car corral...and '70 drag race car sitting on a trailer behind one of the vendors. Out of the 1000's of people walking around I managed to run into 5 people I know who live in my neck of the woods.
I'm getting tired just reading about all that walking....I used to go the Moultrie swap meet twice a year for about 8-10 years. would walk up one side and down the other of each row. this would last for about 4 hrs and only be half way or less done. also take in the cars...
We was there Friday and Saturday,I bought a new windshield for my sons Falcon. I did come out with a few Maverick and Comet items also.
