A couple a days ago someone on the site had a pict and contact for a Mustang Cowl Vent Cover made out of plexaglass.

Would you be kind enough to let me know where I can get one.

    Thank you

    Don

That is the one I saw. Will it fit a 75 Mav?

    Thank you

I doubt that would work because our cars have a wiper invading the vent space. If that is the right overall size, you might be able to notch it.

A good suggestion I heard recently was to use magnetic sign material trimmed to fit. I would be interested to hear if it stays on at speed. The cowl is a pretty high pressure area while the car is in motion.

I posted that and like everyone says above - I don't think it will fit. I like the magnet idea and am going to try it. When I do, I'll let everyone know how it works out.

The Mustang vendors used to have magnetic covers years ago and they stayed on well. They sold them in factory Mustang colors. I'm not so sure they were that effective or they would still be selling them. Still cheap enough to give it a try though.

At the ET Finals I have all my decals on magnetic backing and they have stayed on up to 115 mph.:)

I got my from a local sign shop. They just gave me a piece of scrap for free. Stays on very well. It has never come off.

i ran a magnet on my 4 door for years and never had a problem with it lifting. works great and is cheap. the mustang cowl covers do not work on our cars due to the wipers.

I am going to grind the paint off the vent area and lay some fiberglass cloth over it and smoothe it down.

    I hate water leaks!!
